Oh my god.

I just got the call of my lifetime. :D!!!!

My mom told me that Paul Matalonyck[sp?] at the Art Institutes was on the phone and I was like "ergmnghs.." because I had just woken up two seconds before that. But she was like "You want to take this call :)" ..

and I was just like "uh..alright."

So, she gave me the phone and I said hello - and he told me the best news ever :D

I won the Half-Tuition Scholarship :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

He was just like "You just won 35 thousand dollars!!!" SDFDGMDSFW!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

We laughed really hard..then watched Anastasia up until the part where Rasputin and the bugs start singing In The Dark of the Night and I fell asleep, she was eiher already asleep or fell asleep shortly after me. I woke up at 3am and shut off the dvd, then she woke up..then we laughed..then went to bed XD

I love having her home, and it's only going to get more awesome as Tony and Rose come - we have the greatest time :P

I honestly think I'm one of the only people in the Metro Detroit area who doesn't give a flying fuck about the Pistons. Or basketball. At all.

Jesse says he doesn't, but he's sitting there watching the game with Tim..so obviously he cares a little bit. I didn't want to hang out with them because they weren't doing anything; I even more decided I was glad I didn't go out with them because I'd probably be watching "the game" right now.

Basketball is so horrible. Almost as horrible as football.

All who would like to go see Batman Begins at the Henry Ford IMAX theatre with me on June 16th, tell me very very soon. The movie will begin at 12:20, so we would need to leave just a while after getting out of school.

I love my team so much.

Today was senior day - last home game [ sort of, we have another on wednesday..but that's a playoff and doesn't count ;D ].

They made Pepp and I signs to hang up on the fence during the game.
They gave us flowers after the game.
My mom and Pepp's mom gave us flowers.
My mom got me blue flowers with sparkles and a blue bow - they're so pretty :) Woz made me stop raking the fields after the game.
I threw the best I have in a good two weeks.
My change up worked for the first time in probably the same amount of time.
I only got hurt once and it didn't really hurt after a while :P
We won against Walled Lake Central in the 7th inning.
It was tied 1-1 for most of the game, until Monica got an awesome basehit that brought Jamie home.
Tomorrow is the City Tournament at Ford Field.
Our first game is at 10:00 against Clarenceville.
The second game is at 2:00 against either Churchill or Franklin. Most likely Churchill.
When I got back from an awesome nap with the best boyfriend/friend alive, my house was covered in toilet paper.

Good to know my fuck up cost us two runs. The score had been 1-2 when I did this. The score after I did this was 1-4. Two runs is easier to get back than four runs is. I'm such an ass.

All I say is that we need to beat Canton, RU, WL Central, and win the City Tournament this week. If we don't, I'm going to fucking shoot someone. And it's probably going to be someone that has nothing to do with this entire thing, just because it would be pointless to kill someone I don't hate.

We got second place in the Saline tournament today, not bad. There were eight teams, two pools. We pwned Pool A, and we were in the 1st/2nd championship game. We played against Waylan[d?]. They were really good, undefeated - and they had an amazing pitcher. She had a rise, we weren't hitting. It was 1-8.

But we still got a plACK. XD

But the last game of Pool A was incredible. We played against Saline, and we beat them 9-2? I think.

But..there was a funny part where I almost died:

So, those of you that know me - you know I'm not always all there. I space out a lot and go off in my own little worlds and completely ignore everything around me. Well, this time..I did it while I was pitching. And while I was doing it, I just happened to be staring at Roya. So Roya thought I saw the play she called. The play where she throws it really hard right back at me so that it looks like she's throwing to second, but she's really just throwing it back to me. It's supposed to confuse people.

Well, it confused me. Because I didn't see her call the play, and I thought the ball was going to second. I didn't realize it was coming right at my face until the very last second where it was way too late to put my glove up, so I turned my head to avoid getting it in the face. So I got one of Roya's harder throws RIGHT to the side of my head. I have a nice bump/bruise combo to prove it.

Now, if any of you know Roya St. Clair..you know she is no kitten when it comes to anything..so this wasn't a light tap to the head.

It hurt like a mo xD I knelt down, let a few tears go..my coach and a trainer came...it was cool. They asked if I was alright and if I could see and stuff. I was dizzy, but I decided to keep pitching. So I stood up, they left - the batter backed off, I threw a couple warm ups. I was okay. So I pitched the rest of the game.

I struck a good few out.

I turned to Roya in the dug out and said "I wonder what it feels like to get struck out by a girl that just got pelted in the head with a softball."

It was funny.

Stevenson hurler Hamel handcuffs Churchill batters

Jenny Hamel is becoming more of an X-factor this season for the Livonia Stevenson girls softball team.
The senior right-hander was oozing with confidence Monday as she threw a crafty four-hitter as the Spartans edged Churchill, 1-0, in the Western Division opener for both teams in the Western Lakes Activities Association.
Hamel was not overpowering, but effective, strijking out three and not allowing a walk in seven innings.
Her counterpart on the mound, Churchill's Bridget Long, also tossed a four-hitter and struck out six while not walking anybody in going all seven.
But an effective changeup by Hamel kept the Chargers guessing at the plate as she raised her season record to 4-1.
"I just started getting the hang of it over the summer and fall," Hamel said of her off-speed pitch. "It took a lot of time for it (the pitch) to come along, about one and a half years. But it was a couple of months ago that I got the hang of it."
The game ended on a play at the plate as Stevenson catcher Roya St. Clair tagged out pinch runner Chelsea Wydick on a throw from first baseman Daniel Wozniak.
Churchill's last-ditch rally started when Amber Holod lef off the sixth with a single and took second on a fielder's choice. With two outs, Churchill's Brynn Kerr grounded the ball to shortstop Amanda Alpert, whose throw to first low landed on one hop into dirt and was bobbled by Wozniak.
Wydick kept going around third in an attempt to score the tying run, but was cut down at home.
"When they got the leadoff hitter on, I got nervous because they had been advancing runners all day and we were getting to the breaking point," Stevenson coach Rob Witherspoon said.
Hamel, meanwhile, was not surprised by the final game-clinching play by her infield teammates.
"They knew what they had to do in that case," she said. "They've worked hard as anybody else...worked even more."
The game-winning run came in the top of the second inning when second baseman Jessica Pepp, who had two hits on the day along with St. Clair, singled. She eventually moved up to third and scored on a dropped third strike following a throw to first.
Churchill, which slipped to 3-3 overall, left eight runners stranded.
"We've been hitting decently this year, but not at the key times," Churchill coach Carrie Korican said. "It's the best hitting team I've had in my three years, but we're not manufacturing them when we need them."
Korican, however, came away impressed with Hamel's performance.
"This year she seems more confident and mentally she's tougher," Korican said. "She's seemed to have a well-defined game plan. She has a better change-up. She got confident at the end of the game and was not afraid to use it, and we got caught sleeping on it."
Stevenson, 4-1 on the year, overcame another solid pitching performance by Long, who also collected two of Churchill's four hits.
"So far we're taking advantage of other teams' mistakes," the third year coach said.
"Bridget Long is good. I talked to the girls, and all you can do against her is make something happen on the bases."
Witherspoon knows that improved pitching means more victories.
"She (Hamel) has worked on the changeup over the winter and she's extremely more confident," he said. "She's gotten a couple of wins early and we're seeing her hard work pay off."

Know what sucks? I changed my password for DiablosChica because I kept getting that fucking "your screen name is signed on in two locations" thing..so I have no idea what was happening, so I just decided to try to take action by changing my password.

Yeah, too bad I forget what I changed it too..and when my lame internet kicked me off, it decided I needed to retype my new password.

So yeah, I tried to say "Email lost password" but...I haven't gotten an email yet - and the email address I think it may be connected to is very old and I don't remember the password to that account.

So I think I might be screwed with DiablosChica.

Until I figure out a way to remember what I changed the password to, or how to hack into my own name...XD!

Livonia Stevenson 7, Garden City 5 (8 innings): Shortstop Amanda Alpert was 3-for-5 with an RBI and Shelly Waldenmeyer hit a two-run home run for Stevenson (3-1). Stephanie Wasil had a double and an RBI and Holly Clendening was 3-for-4 for Garden City (2-1).
